Dimitris Krallis

Dimitris Krallis was born and raised in Athens. He owes his love of history to his father, and to his mother his desire to socialize and communicate with people. Krallis completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Athens where he was charmed by his professors of history and decided to mehr anzeigen risk all by seeking a graduate degree in Byzantine History. This took him to Oxford where he studied Byzantine social and political history. After an interruption of four years dedicated to military service and to teaching at the American College of Greece he left for the University of Michigan to study with John Fine. Six years of study and friendships led him to his current work in a dynamic Center for Hellenic Studies comfortably ensconced in the history department at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, Canada. weniger anzeigen
