Well... The characters are mermaids (or mermen) who have magical adventures under the sea (and sometimes elsewhere). Basic dice system (roll d6 equal to your score/rating in a skill/attribute, with 4+ being a success on each die). Playable, but somewhat limited appeal.½

A game where ordinary people suddenly become gods. Yes, it's a well-travelled path; but PTG has some interesting twists. Characters are very minor gods, with a lot of enemies, and have to balance divine problems with very mundane ones; like paying the rent, dealing with unpleasant co-workers, and staying in touch with your friends. There's a lot of emphasis on role-playing and social interaction, along with encouraging very creative uses of one's divine powers. Only poor editing and indexing prevents PTG from getting a higher rating.½
