The viewer is presented with beautiful reproductions of Chagall's work, and will find it difficult to turn the page! The text politely takes a back seat to the reproductions, allowing for an enjoyable introduction to the artist. Photos of the artist and his family are interspersed with text that is presented in a variety of colors. The end pages include a more thorough chronological biography of the artist's life and a listing of the paintings found in the book that include title, creation date and current location of the piece.
