Kindle Unlimited but this from one of those send it to you free and hope you review it, give your opinion blah blah think it was through librarything but from the author, but my usual, not even going to try to explain what this book is about, just read it already and look to the stars/rating. Enjoyed it. Reminds me a little of some of H. Jackson Brown Jr.'s books and booklets have read.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book has 99 very brief stories as object lessons for the truth. I enjoyed reading it immensely!

This book was just ok for me. I guessed the ending so that was a let down I was hoping I was wrong just for something different. But overall I would read something else from this author. * I received this book from LibraryThing giveaway in exchange for an honest review*

This book is one of those travel books about a couple leaving their own place in the world behind and trying to adapt to the culture of another place and country with a different language, different beliefs and different history to that of their own. It is well written and enjoyable, not as funny as many others in this genre, nor as condescending and as idealised. In fact, the most interesting thing about the book is the author's realisation that he is trying to impose his ideals on the town that has become his Shangri-La. It lifts the book from yet another "Year in Provence" imitator to an interesting and thought provoking study on what people are really searching for when they try to "get away from it all".… (mehr)
