I work with families and are often talking to parents about their children's online safety and behaviour. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, mobile phones and the internet are our children's social world now - like it or not. For us as parents and professionals it is important to understand this world - its benefits and its dangers. This book helps put some of the risks in proportion, debunk some of the language/jargon used and most importantly help adults understand a world that can be somewhat foreign. This book is well written and informative. A definitive guide to avoid your kids dealing with the nastier side of the internet (grooming, cyberbulling, internet addiction). There is also some important pointers about the law and internet use. I was given a free copy of this book to review and give my honest opinion - a must read for all parents of children in the digital age.… (mehr)
