Okay, this one was really cute. If I do a program about rain or weather, I think I could definitely use this. I loved the rhythm of it, and the counting forwards and back.

Clifford has a loose tooth, which you'd think would have come out when he was still a puppy instead of the giant he now is. He and his friends imagine ways to help it come out right away, but Clifford is anxious and decides to wait it out. It might work for some kids worried about their own loose teeth, but it is pretty bland otherwise.

I did think the ending was odd, as Clifford's owners usually don't exploit his size for profit in the way shown.

The title page says the story is adapted, but I cannot find an episode of the animated show that matches it. Publicity text for the book says the story is original, so I guess the adapted reference is an error.

A funny book for beginning readers. It has simple, repetitive words with rhyming sentences.

This book is intended for early readers. This book would be great for first and second graders.

This book is a riddle. It goes through many things that Silly Milly likes and does not like. Each page gives one thing she likes and one thing that she doesn't like. The goal is to find out what each one of the things has in common.

This book would be good for a read aloud. Students would be able to think about the riddle and the book. I could create an activity and the students could do something with this riddle or for older grades they could come up with their own riddles.

Rain Drop, Plop was an interesting book that taught the concept of counting numbers. I really enjoyed how it was told like a poem almost. As I was reading I caught myself almost singing it like a nursery rhyme. The illustrations fill every page with color and show exactly what is going on in the book at that time. I think I would use this in my classroom to help teach students about numbers and how to count them. I think this would catch their attention greatly.

Adorable rhyming, counting book with cute illustrations. It features a little girl and her dog on an adventure outside in the rain, then inside for a bubble bath. Perfect for this time of year!

“Silly Milly” was written by Wendy Cheyette Lewison. Silly Milly is so silly because Silly Milly showers, she has umbrellas, and she drinks juice. I love this book because I am so silly and the title is “Silly Milly”. I think this story is funny because Silly Milly and her dog like green. I feel like it is funny. I think silly people need to read this book because this book is silly. I give this book four out of five stars! - Olivia Hwang, Ivy Class, February 2018

Genre: Non-fiction
Review:
This book is non-fiction because it doesn't have any nonrealistic parts. The girl is playing outside in the rain counting, and then running home. counting down as well.
Use:
1) Counting 1-10 and backwards as well
2) Talk about the things you need to wear to stay dry outside of the house

I loved this unique, playful Children’s book. First, the book is engaging for the readers as they try to guess why Mrs. Milly likes the things she does. The lines are filled with rhymes and riddles that appeal to all ages and make the story fun and enjoyable to read. “She likes green. She does not like red. She likes butter. She does not like bread. She likes seeds. She does not like flowers.” In addition, the illustrations enhance the text. My favorite part of the illustrations is the color. The bright colors are engaging and attractive to look at. You can see the playful humor in each picture and deign. However, the sentences are simple and there is little to no variety within each, although it may appeal to young ages. Finally, the story ends saying, “Mrs. Milly is so silly. Can you tell why?” It’s up to the readers to solve the riddle of why Mrs. Willy likes certain words, and does not like some others.

This is an excellent book for young reader that starts with a young boy playing with farm animals that ask his father how animals on the farm go to sleep. One after another the father explains how the animals go to sleep including the cow, duck, horses, pigs, etc, and lastly how his own son falls asleep at night.

You, likely, are somewhat closer to the small person you are reading to than I am. You might make it through this book as many as 4-5 times before throwing it out the window.

It's pretty fun on the first read through.

This book is about different kind of farm animals sleeping on their own bed/area when it night time and at the end the boy sleep too. I like the book because it shows colorful illustration of different kind of animals and would use it on my teaching to ask the student about their favorite kind of animal. It suitable for first to fourth graders.

This book teaches the readers how each farm animal goes to sleep. I love how it rhymes, and I would include it in my classroom for its use of illustrations. Additionally, I would read this to grades PreK-Kindergarten before nap time.
