A very fun story to read and share. The rhymes are both funny and true. Grandpas should find it hilarious while the kids enjoy the silliness of it all. Probably be trying to come up with their own rhymes afterwards. Definitely a five stars book.

This new big sister experienced the long wait and let down when baby first arrived. But as baby grew, big sister could take on more fun times with baby. Very cute, and different, angle. The only picture that may be troublesome is the fetal growth chart which isn't quite accurate and may raise more questions than bargained for. Otherwise, bright fun illustrations. The rhyme and meter are sometimes off but in general, it was okay. I was surprised in such a forward-thinking story that big sister did not go with parents to hospital to be present for the birth. Otherwise, fun story for "expectant" big siblings.… (mehr)
