Follow the development of a frog from a tiny jelly dot to a fully-grown frog through the fun” peek a boo” eye.
The fun full color illustrations and “peek a boo” eye is paired with simple fact filled text to provide a first introduction to life cycles and non- fiction books. This book is recommended to older toddlers and younger preschoolers who are just becoming curious about the world around them.

This is the story of Pip, who is a tiny seed eaten by a bird and then dropped to the ground. Toddlers and young readers can follow along and learn the process of a seed in the ground to the sprout to an apple tree. I love the illustration of Pip, very cute. It is a great introduction to life cycles for young readers. I would recommend this for any collection.

A young gardener needs water for his garden, but where will it come from?
The author creates a fun and simple introduction to the water cycle. Through the use of personification, she creates a narrative for “Drip” a tiny drop of water and allows the reader to follow him on his adventures through the water cycle. This book is recommended for toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years. It is slightly text heavy so smaller babies might lose interest.
