After his baptism, Jesus spent forty days in the desert wilderness meditating and praying in preparation of his life's ministry. Lent is also a designated time in the liturgical calendar for personal meditation and prayer in preparation for Easter and our lives. Authors Frank and Victoria Logue offer a series of daily Lenten meditations inspired by the Sonoran Desert landscape, its plants and animals, scripture, and the teachings of the Desert Fathers. The series of meditations are group by weekly themes with each mediation concluding with a few self-reflection questions.
