Even though the ending can best described as bittersweet, it was perfect for the story and really showed who the characters are.

It is very rare that I don't see a plot-twist coming but I can assure you that I did not see this one at all. It was such a surprise and now I want to know what happens next.
The only reason I could not rate this five stars was because of how abrupt the ending was. I felt like I was missing quite a lot of emotion, even if the events were laid-out well.
All in all, this was a short novella packed full of worldbuilding and adventure that you won't want to miss.
