Touching story of one woman’s deep sorrow over losing her husband that she lost herself in the process. But where she was sorrow the man who received her husband’s heart was torment. Neither had the strong will to live even though they continued making the motions. But when they meet neither was prepared but the awakening of their souls in realizing how much they really need each other. But they both have so much guilt for living that even though they recognize what’s happening between them there are ghost that need to be put to rest for that to happen.

You could feel the grief in both characters and were rooting for them both to be able to put the past the rest and hope they could finally be each other’s light to bring them out of the darkness they had been living in for so long.

WOW what can I say...I have had books that tug at the heart and bring my emotions high but I have never experienced a book that actually made me cry. Sadie's sorrow is so deep and the author brings those emotions right to the page. You heart breaks page after page of the torment Sadie puts herself through. Until she meets Zander the one man who could open her heart again to love. Zander will do anything to make Sadie happy again. He holds a very precious gift that only Sadie can cherish as much as him. Can Sadie let go of Jake and find the happiness that is truly right in front of her or will she run back to her hiding place again.… (mehr)
