- Hinweis zur Identitätsklärung
- Roy MacLeod (1) is an emeritus professor of History at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Roy MacLeod (2) appears to have been created as the result of an import or copying error that credited him as the author of |Jane Austen :
the music : [themes from Sense and sensibility and Pride and prejudice|, ISBN 9780711966543.
I performed an extensive bibliographic search for this title. The results of the search show no record of any person named Roy MacLeod involved in the composition/arrangement/publication of this sheet music. Per the FirstSearch bibliographic entry, Patrick Doyle is the composer of the musical score |Jane Austen : the music : [themes from Sense and sensibility and Pride and prejudice|, ISBN 9780711966543. Per FirstSearch bibiliographic entry/statement of responsibility, other persons credited for this score are Jack Long and Carl Davis. The latter arranged the music for solo piano. I believe that the Roy MacLeod entry for this the must have been an import and/or copying error. I therefore updated the canonical name for Roy MacLeod (2) to Patrick Doyle. I will alias Roy MacLeod (2) into the main entry for Patrick Doyle.
There is no need to both add Doyle and alias to him. Alias removed.
