Three and a half stars, one of the weakest books in this series. I'm not really interested in Gabrysia's daughters and I definitely don't like Fryderyk. And the ending was quite ridiculous in my opinion.

I don't understand all the hate poured on this book, because I really enjoyed it. I found it sweet and charming, I really liked both the fainting, delicate artist heroine and the subtle, poet hero of the book. I think the hot, stifling summer was very realistic, you could almost feel the fever in the air, and this big house in the forest, with all the home-made ice cream and the lake, and the shade seemed like a wonderful haven for a tired reader. I had fun reading this book.

Przeczytałem 20 stron i po 20 stronach i przeczytaniu losowo kilkunastu stron muszę się zgodzić.

Powtórka, bo nawet nie pamiętałam, że to czytałam. Zaczęłam kojarzyć część wątków od złotej nici i worków z nawozem:P
