It's a while since I read this now, so I can't remember it all that well. I'm giving it 5 stars, though I might give it 4 if I could remember it better.

There are those who believe it important to maintain their "childhood faith". I can't say I ever had such a thing as a "childhood faith", and can't imagine wanting such a horrid fate as holding on to it. It is not for no reason that Paul writes about "putting aside childish things", not that I actually know what he's talking about, but maybe if ever I get to read the bible...

This book isn't about the above as such, but speaks about the images we have of "god", or reality if you wish, and the need to not get stuck on any fixed images thereof. The need to continually challenge our own world-view.

A book I am reminded of from time to time as I think about things in my life.… (mehr)
