Good but gruesome!

He'll is Here by NP Martin is book two in the series. In the last book, our gal made a deal with a demon for a favor for any time, well he came to collect. He wants her to go to Hell and accomplish a feat that is impossible! Most of this book revolves around being in hell and it gets gruesome. I think it went overboard in some spots. For that reason and because it is a cliffhanger, I didn't give it a full five stars but four. Still an exciting book just know ahead of time it is a bit graphic.

Hell is Coming by N.P. Martin takes a wild trip down demon lane and kicking their tails as it went! A gal who is part angel, sees demons. Then her twin brother is taken by them. That was their big mistake! Lots of family secrets revealed, great action, excitement, and supernatural dangers! Loved it although I really didn't like the gal the first half of the book! She got better.

I didn't find anything new here, but the book is good.

Amazing story I loved the way the characters went with the groove. Amazing & strong willed characters the story takes you on the ride of your life a well developed story you can sink your teeth into. This series I do so hope to read all of in the future as I enjoyed reading this first book so so very much I would be so delighted to recommend this wonderful book to my friends also who else love these books my thanks to the amazing author Neal Martin for the privilege and pleasure of reading this wonderful book. So to all you lovely peoples happy reading from wee me.😉😆

Honestly, Neal you are soooo good! I love the way you write, the way you think and the way your stories absorb me. I was so excited to meet Frank in the past and get some back story and I was not disappointed. I think one of the things I love most about the way you write is the details. By details, I mean the things that will happen or have happened are always referenced correctly. I like that Frank visited the playground and we now know that he didn’t just blow off Leia and Josh. These are the types of important details that your fans appreciate and will look for. You are fantastic at bringing these types of details out in all your stories.

The story itself is excellent. Action packed with enough softness around the edges to make everyone fall in love with Frank. I now feel like I understand him and how and why he is the way he is. But as usual I want more. I want to know more about Rachael and I want to see his relationship with Eva develop to what it was when we first met him in Hell is Coming.

I don’t mean to be pushy or anything, but please don’t ever stop writing. You have an amazing gift and I personally will read anything you write from now until I can’t read anymore, at which point I will expect them on Audio….thank you very much.

This book is a good place to start if you have read nothing from N.P. Martin. It is a great story that leaves you hanging most willingly for the next chapter. So whether you start here, or wait and enjoy this as the Prequel, just start because you will not be disappointed!

I finished this book this past Friday night and it left me feeling very weird, unhappy and even a bit angry.

I was feeling weird because upon finishing the book I was popped back into reality and I didn’t like that at all. Neal has a way of reaching out with his stories and grabbing you right into story, so deep that you never want to leave.

I was unhappy because I didn’t want it to end and especially the way it ended. I need the third book, but I don’t think it is written yet. I can’t tell you why because I don’t want to ruin it for you, but trust me…WE NEED BOOK 3 NEAL!

I was angry because the book is so damn intense that you start to feel emotional and after the journey it took me on, I was NOT READY TO BE DONE.

This book is NOT a stand alone, you can get away with that with book 1, but if you have come this far, you are committed. You need to be committed to get through this though because this one is pretty graphic. Book 1 was mild compared to book 2. Book 2, Hell is Here …well it really is. Blood, gore, explicit disgusting mayhem and a little (which is more than enough) sex. But if you are reading this book it is because you are on Team Leia and you can’t put it down. It’s okay, it’s not your fault, this stuff is dangerously addictive. I was at the point that I was having to put the book down to digest what this poor girl was going through, but then it called to me and I had to get back to her and find out what was coming.

Now I sit, and wait…impatiently…Neal can I do anything to speed this up? I’ll clean the house, babysit, walk the dog, whatever it takes to make sure you are undisturbed until you get me back to Leia. Don’t leave me hanging…..

For those of you that have not yet embarked on this journey, I strongly recommend reading the Hell is Coming first. For those of you that read Hell is coming….what are you waiting for?

First I would like to say that I am currently staring a picture of Neal and ummm…this is exactly what I thought Frank would look like. I swear this is the face my mind’s eye conjured up while reading this book.

Well, now that I have finished this book, I am very sad. I have nothing notable to read until the copy of book 2 arrives. I got this copy in exchange for a review, but I was about ¾ through it when I went to Amazon and purchased the new one Hell is Here.

I had to get the new one because this one is so wonderful, so awesome that I just knew the withdrawals would kill me until I could get back to Leia and see what she would do next.

Neil, you are an amazing storyteller. Very detailed and extremely intriguing. I couldn’t put this book down and I didn’t care. I got sucked into your world and would really have no problem staying there. This book is a very strong stand alone, no doubt, but you are clever because you set us up for the pre-quel and the sequel. I want Frank’s background story now. I also want to stay with Leia. No problem, I can read two books at once, while watching TV, playing on my phone and playing with my dogs. I’m good like that! Lol But seriously….

To the folks that are about to embark on this journey…have a blast and make some time for yourself. You won’t want to put this down. If you are a fan of urban fantasy you will love this book for staying true to the genre and keeping it real. If you are not a fan but are just checking it out….Thank goodness you picked this book because I am sure you will try more now.
