Kurzbiographie
Lakeisha was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. She is has one half sister. She graduated as Rosa Parks Arts H.S. class of 1999 valedictorian. Lakeisha attended Penn State University in 1999 and graduated in 2003 with BA's in Political Science and Psychology. She later moved to Chesapeake and got married to Keith McKnight. Lakeisha is currently completing her last semester at Norfolk State University and will have an MSW May 9, 2009. Lakeisha has been accepted into Regent University's School of Global Leadership and Entreprenuership's Doctor in Strategic Leadership Program and will start May 11, 2009. Keith and Lakeisha currently do not have any children. Lakeisha has started a nonprofit titled Kingdom Expansion Enterprises Inc, that provides life coaching, mentoring, advising, consulting, and health advising to individuals, families, and business professionals. Lakeisha attends Mount Sinai Church in Portsmouth, VA where she is a covenant partner. Lakeisha has been honored as Cambridges Whose Who among business leaders and membership into the National Association of Professional Women. Lakeisha loves empowering people and desires to build leaders throughout the world.

Goals is a good book for teens who lack direction in life. McKnight uses her religious beliefs to make several of her points. This restricts her target audience. While her book will be useful to christian teens who have explored a christian faith I do not believe the book will work for others. I felt McKnight directed teens through several areas of need for our teens. The book is meant to be an additional piece to her public speech appearances. I'm not sure how effective her message will be for the unmotivated who have not heard her speak. But if you have a Christian teen that is stuck in a rut this would be a book to consider to help out.… (mehr)
