Charles Mead

Charles Mead is a new author from the UK and his writing is done in UK English, which takes a little getting used to as does the English humor.The Grid is his first book and for a first time effort I found it thought-provoking and terrifying; not necessarily comedic or a thriller. But this could be the result of the short story length in which it is presented. Or, the fact, that I see a thriller as action, not cerebral. Of course, if you take into account that you cannot locate this book on Amazon or Shelfari without typing in The Grid Part One as it doesn't show up on a search for only The Grid. Maybe this is a conspiracy thriller after all! I recommend reading I am looking forward to reading more from him in the future. Though I am sad that he seems to have no plan to make this a series (see his author webpage at either Amazon or Shelfari)."… (mehr)
