This book is absolutely perfect for introducing the history of the modern day numbers and systems in a math classroom. The book goes over early counting methods and systems, place value, words and symbols, etc. The book compares numbers in early Egypt, India, China, and Latin America. Honestly, I am not one to get into many scientific topics, especially sound and sound wave topics. However, this book was so good!!! I genuinely feel like I understood the entire book and like I now have a better understanding of how sound works and the different pitches/volumes. The narrations were so kid-friendly and the illustrations showed exactly what each page was about. Definitely recommend this book!
Matter and its properties was written in as a comic book and the main character is Matter. The character Matter takes you through the journey of its life as matter. It is a very good read for third graders and up.
This book was very fun and engaging. It contained a lot of humor that I personally thought was very entertaining. The pictures were very simple and clear and made it easy to see and use as a learning tool. I thought the most interesting part was that it was made like a comic book which I absolutely loved.
