Alps 4000: 75 Peaks in 52 Days von Martin Moran
Doesn't read like peak-bagging! Good!
I picked this up purely from curiosity in a second hand bookshop the weekend after turning back before the summit on Ben Vane due to very nasty sheet ice and a lack of crampons. Ben Vane is one of the lowest Munros, and Martin Moran, obviously knocked it off before breakfast. Even being swept down a mountain in an avalanche wasn't enough to make him turn back.
This is an entertaining story, and anyone who has climbed Scottish mountains will enjoy the tales. I found the story a bit disconnected at times, but I think this is the result of the subject matter not author failings.
