PDFNSF1 | https://www.nsf.gov/index.jsp | https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/policydocs/pappg17_1/index.jsp | https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/policydocs/pappg17_1/pappg_1.jsp | Each proposing organization that is new to NSF or has not had an active NSF assistance award within the previous five years should be prepared to submit basic organization and management information and certifications, when requested, to the applicable award dividing within the Office of Budget, Finance & Award Management (BFA). The requisite information is described in the NSF Prospective New Awardee Guide. The information contained in this Guide will assist the organization in preparing documents that NSF requires to conduct administrative and financial reviews of the organization. This Guide also serves as a means of highlighting the accountability requirements associated with Federal awards | This guidance is from 2017 - updates have occurred |

PDFNSF2 | NSF 18-041 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Public Access | This document replaces NSF 17-060 | NSF requires that either the version of record or the final accepted manuscript in peer-reviewed scholarly journals and papers in juried conference proceedings or transactions (also known as "juried conference papers") be deposited in a public access compliant repository designated by NSF (the NSF Public Access Repository; NSFPAR); be available for download, reading and analysis free of charge no later than 12 months after initial publication; possess a minimum set of machine-readable metadata elements in a metadata record to be made available free of charge upon initial publication; be managed to ensure long-term preservation; and be reported in annual and final reports during the period of the award with a persistent identifier that provides links to the full text of the publication as well as other metadata elements. For more information, see section 3.1 of "Today's Data, Tomorrow's Discoveries: Increasing Access to the Results of Research Funded by the National Science | https://www.nsf.gov/publications/pub_summ.jsp?ods_key=nsf15052 |
