Short and sweet, a great intro to Sara’s character. I can’t wait to start Magic and Medicine!!
Have tissues handy on the two full days needed for this epic, adult, paranormal, supernatural quest to save Cornovii and the rest of the continent from the ravages of the Iron Emperor. There will also be a few chortles along the way. I received a copy as a gift and this is my voluntary review.
COVER = 5/5
PACE = 2/5 - felt slow/kinda boring tbh
PLOT = 3/5 -interesting
CHARACTERS = 4/5- villain was interesting
WORLD BUILDING = 3/5
WRITING STYLE = 2/5 - unsure if i like this writing style
ROMANCE = 2/5 - weird, felt a little rushed/forced sometimes
OVERALL = 2.5/5 stars

I felt that some parts of the story were explained in so much detail and others got brushed over. Sometimes, when it went from the female to the male POV that things were repeated. Overall, I think it was a good read and can be treated as a standalone!… (mehr)
