STARS, I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I felt bad that poor Rania lost everything including her family back in Syria. She had been sexually abused and beaten by her enemies so much that she wished she had died also, but she was one of the lucky ones and was shipped to the UK where she got a job to clean an office building, but there were ghosts who tried to talk her into trouble, which she did not need and only wanted to do her job then go home to her flat mate and only friend. As the evening wore on she saw a large police presence at her job and one ghost who had died in front of the gates told her what happened the best she could as she had died in the early eighteen hundreds and she did not know what a car was. Rania had inherited being and Electi passed down through generations and so far had never seen another. I liked former cop and now a PI, Will Lawson who was hired to solved the gruesome murder of the only daughter murdered right in the hallway of the building with only a ghost who saw the killer, but Arthur wanted his on revenge as it was assumed that he had embezzled large sums of money and took his life by jumping out a window.… (mehr)
