The official history of the Australian medical services in South East Asia between 1950-72. I found the book informative and well written, it walks the line between academic and general quite well. The book is divided into three parts. Part I on Malaya and Borneo, Part II on Vietnam and Part III on the Agent Orange Royal Commission. My only complaint was it didn't go into combat surgery enough, it tended to concentrate on malaria, fevers and STD's, important to be sure so my complaint is very minor.… (mehr)
