This is such a small, short, book to be intended for young adults, yet with the main characters being young adults who have jobs, I'm not sure it will be that interesting to readers of the usual elementary Chapter Books. It's best audience is older students who have reading difficulties.
Brad and Meg work for a newspaper and accidentally receive stolen goods. The solve the mystery of the real thief.

Anyone familiar with mysteries will have this one halfway solved as soon as the guy walks into the newspaper office and says that a ghost is scaring away everyone in the apartment building. Of course someone wants to get the apartment by forcing the owner to give it up after all the tenents have been scared off. My main question is whether the tenents would be dumb enough to be scared by the fake ghost. Nonetheless, this is a good kid mystery.
