What a riot! I couldn't stop laughing. Some of the characters are out of this world (pun intended), but I'd love to meet 'em. In some ways, the characters are like those you might find in a Terry Pratchett book - Granny (weatherwax?), Alan Wicca, etc. The antics that people get up to in this book are truly hilarious; and to think these are real life events, too. Just the names have been changed.

Well worth reading, if you want some light entertainment. Although it has to be said that underneath the humour are some gentle warnings about what not to do when practising magic.… (mehr)

More endearing stories from those that brought us "Coarse Witchcraft: Craft Working". These books will be a wonderful series when the third and final book is finally published. I am sorry that the authors have decided to leave it at just three books, though it is understandable given that they must be receiving some unwanted attention because of the desire of people to know who are the wonderful characters in real life.

The authors have successfully combined a series of wonderful anecdotes into a cohesive story of a year in the life of the characters [whomever they may be] found in the first book. Again, there are underlying tones of what not to do, but there are still the hilarious situations that have one in stitches trying to conjure the images in one's head.

This book will forever stay on my bookshelves to read on those days when I need to have a laugh and remember that even witchcraft (and/or magic) can be lighthearted.… (mehr)
