Using humorous anecdotes from her life, the author’s transparency opens eyes, hearts, and minds to the truths she shares and those areas of our lives where we are not giving God our all. This six-days-a week (an introduction and five days of digging deeper), eight-week study will poke at your excuses, your anxiety, your distractions, your good intentions and more.
Each entry is quick and easy to read (no more than ten minutes) but plan some extra time in there for prayer and reflection. As Peters says in her introduction, “I feel confident there will be toes stepped on and maybe a few tearful face-plants into those sheets of ours that might not have been washed this week.” But sometimes we need that to make changes in our lives for the better.
So, you’re ready to meet an author who is more friend than finger-waving authority and if you’re ready to give up chasing things that leave you exhausted and feeling like you just can’t keep up, if you’re ready to give God more of yourself, use Enough of Me as your GPS to getting back on track. #EveryWomanNeedsToReadThis
