The author provides some excellent points and provides exercises to drive home and potentially lead to better thoughts and actions. Many of essays touched on points that reflections provided insight into my thinking. I appreciated the opportunity to examine my attitudes and behaviors that may not be productive or beneficial to leading a happy and healthy life.

Well written and inspiring us to question and discover things about ourselves we may not have pondered on our own. Think of all the guidance and self-help books out there that tell you do do this or think that. There is little of this here because as the title suggests by delving into our own experiences with some suggestion we can find those answers often for ourselves.
I am not sure how the author arrived at all this knowledge herself but she is able to convey the message well in this book that we ultimately are the sources and solution to our life challenges and goal achieving. And thus as we take the time to really think about who we are and where we are going we can arrive at the right answer for ourselves and don't need the guru from the mountain top to show us the way.… (mehr)
