Lo leí cuando era pequeña y me lo pasé genial jugando a descubrir los acertijos que se escondían tras las ilustraciones

This book is full of great science experiments you could do with your kids in your classroom. Almost all of them are kid friendly and could be done with only a few materials. However, each experiment goes into very little detail because they are only one, very small, page long. The size of the book is nice for child hands because it is so small and easy to handle.

The Black Hand Gang is a group of children. They live next to an old and empty house. One day, they saw a man running out of the house carrying a suitcase. Then something funny fell out of the suitcase. When the children picked it up, they found out that they were two stamps. But something was missing on one of the stamps. This was the beginning of a great adventure chasing criminals. It makes a great read aloud for children aged 7 and above.

I like this book because the story is full of suspense and there are pictures with questions for the reader.

Contains some outstandingly ingenious experiments. I was very impressed by the instructions for projecting an image of the sun and safely observing sunspots. No fluff and some serious science for elementary and high school ages here.

I read a lot of Encyclopedia Brown when I was a kid, but this was my favorite... enough that I went and tracked down a used copy for my kids (hardback!) Sort of a combination of a kid's mystery and Where's Waldo - the clues to find are in some clever pictures. Lots of fun. Only downside is like most mysteries, once you've found all the clues, a second reading is disappointing since you already know everything.
