The author of this book tells two stories from her own Australian family in this volume without really providing a lot of documentation for either story. The subtitle of the book is "three compelling reasons to preserve YOUR family history," however, unless you share the author's ancestry, these three reasons will not exist for you. The three things in the title are covered in the two stories. She does nothing to bring the stories around to applicability for a larger audience. In fact, once you get to the final chapter, it is apparent that the book is little more than a commercial for her web site and another book. I gave the book two stars because the stories were worth sharing. The author simply did not go far enough to convince others of why they should pursue their family's history.
