I fell in love with this recording. These young voices soar, bringing hope and joy. From the opening of Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee to the last chords of How Shall I Sing that Majesty I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have a feeling my favorites will vary by my mood, but I've tried to list some below.

How Can I Keep from Singing is one of my favorite songs and Libera does it justice. Morning Has Broken was one of my early voice recital performances; the song has a special place in my heart and this was beautiful. America the Beautiful was gorgeous. Wayfaring Stranger starts and ends with a beautiful solo, but the choral part is amazing. The Prayer always brings tears to my eyes as does Rest in Peace (a song I think I need more frequently as I lose friends and family over time). I love the soaring melodies of How Great Thou Art.

If you like choral music, you should buy this and add Libera to your watch list. If you enjoy religious music, you will probably enjoy this CD.… (mehr)
