Vivian DeRusha Quantz

Ms. Quantz was reliving her childhood years as the daughter of lighthouse keeper. Her favorite place was Whitefish Point. My husband and I visited the Upper Peninsula this past summer including Whitefish Point. It was fun to relate to the place she loved.

I believe, however, that this story would benefit from more development of her experiences. Later in life, she apparently suffered some kind of negative electrical shock and was using writing as a way to regain some of her memory. I applaud her for that, however, I still think the story would benefit from some background research which might have helped her regain some of her memory, as well.… (mehr)
