As a part of the Read On Series, the reading lists it offers here are specifically for the genre of romance. An understanding/definition of what "romance" is to mean could be included as part of the introduction. The book annotations are most helpful, as are the 6-10 titles that are recommended from each area. These would be even stronger if there were information about why these are recommended. The appendices and index are helpful to librarians, especially those who find themselves involved in reader's advisory work, but an understanding of language in some as well as developmental issues would be helpful. It would also be helpful if titles with an e-book or electronic connection showed that information. Also, some of the titles have become movies which would also help to show that information.… (mehr)
