I spent this book alternating between fear, with the horror themes, and nitpicking inaccuracies, since the island is near and dear to my heart, and I've been there a couple times. (There's no porch. And no outside door to the tower...) but the idea of writing about the island is one that has caught my fancy several times, and I'm impressed that Knight followed through with it.

The American Chillers Series are very popular in our library so it was fun to see what the kids are all so excited about! I think this was a fun story that uses suspense and gruesome descriptions to really hook the reader. Curricular connexions could be developing expressive writing and intense, adjective filled descriptions. Also, building up the suspense through a chapter and then leaving the reader hanging...

This book is about 3 kids named Kevin, Kevin's sister Erin and Kevin's little brother Bobby. They get lost in the forest and spirits make kevin the king of the fire. When kevin was the king of the fire he could kill the underforest

I like this book because it is in my favorate series.

this books about 3 kids that live on a farm. they liked to talk on a cb radio and one day when there tractors suddenly came alive they tried to fight back and they had called for help on a radio and later a trucker comes and saves them and when their parents come home they dont belive any of them.

i like this book beacsue it had action and becasue this book was part of the collection of books the auther wrote.

this book is about 3 kids that go on a field trip to a museum and there they get lost and they get locked in the museum and at night the wax figures come alive and chase them but at the end of the book they find out that they are robots controlled by robbers that are trying to steal the wax figures and they get caught.

I like this book because it has a lot of intence moments and its in the collection of books I like.½

This book is about 2 kids that live near a ice breaker museum. The book starts out when they go to the ice breaker and find out that the crew where zombies and ghosts and the ship was haunted and that they where lost in it. And had to find a way out without getting caught. But at the end they find out that the ship was a haunted house.

I liked this book because it had a lot of times where it would be a mystery. And at the end of the books it would go into another book. And that they would sometimes be running from something.Or hiding from someone.

This bok was about two kids that lived in florida. When a fog cloud coverd florida. They get lost in the fog and cant find away out and fog figures follow them and hunt them down. The fog figures where animals and people that had been lost in the fog when it lifts. The two kids get lost looking for their dog when they get lost and a person made of fog told them that they had to get inside and out of the fog or when it lifts they wil turn into fog. When they are out in the fog, fog creatures chase them and if they touch them they turn into fog.

Another great series of books to get boys involved in reading. These books were the ones that helped my son to enjoy reading. Would love to go to the book store to purchase these books. Loved brining the books into his class to share with his friends to read.

This is a book about 2 kids mike and his friend Haley. The book starts when mike gets a new game for his computer and when he starts it the computer had a vampire face on it and it was typing to him. It told him if he could enter but mike tried to turn off the computer but it wouldn't so he unplugged it but in the middle of the night it turned on. But in the morning he played it with Haley and the vampire pulled them in the game but when they got in the vampire was there and they where told that the virtual world was in trouble and that they where the only one who could do it and that if they did not do it the vampires would have enough power to leave the game and go into the real life. So mike and Haley had to go onto the castle and find a secret dungeon that could fix the virtual world and they could go home. So when they are trying to find there way into the maze they come across animals like a robot wolf,vampire bat, black cat, and vampires. When they find out that they had to go into a portal into the computer to fix a virus to save the virtual world they discover they where in mikes room but they where small and in their computer and mike finds that there was soda pop spilled in his computer and that was what made the virus so he unplugged a wire that had the pop spill on it and then they where teleported back out of the computer and into mikes room then that was it.

I liked this book because it had a lot of times where it would be a mystery. And at the end of the books it would go into another book. And that they would sometimes be running from something.Or hiding from someone. The book would have it based on city's in Michigan or states.

Scariest book so far in the series very good.½

Scary but not as scary as the cover if anything it's kind of weird.½

Suspense that's all I need to say it just gets better and better every page

It was a good book ghat brought lots of suspense and I finished in 2 days very nice book.😃

Every chapter ends in more questions than it answered and just makes you want to read more. It was full of action. I read the book because I liked them in middle school and kept on reading them. I still can’t sit the books down once I start reading them.

Jeremy was just an average boy until werewolves attacked Wisconsin. The story takes place in Madison Wisconsin. One night while playing hide-n-go-seek he saw a werewolf. He took off running and screaming.
He and his friends got away just in the nick of time. My favorite part in this book is when Jeremy got attacked by a werewolf. My least favorite part in this book is when Jeremy and his friend Colette turned the werewolf back into a person again.
People that should read this book are 7 & 8 year olds. I think they should read this book because it isn’t that scary and violent and it is a low reading level.
I rate this 4.5 stars out of 5. I rate it this because it held me all the way but it left me with a lot of questions at the end.

When they buy a creepy new house they discover a weird looking door they rip off the wood and discover a weird land that does not exist then they look around and find a war going on

this book is about two kids who have an adventure and i would recomend this book to anyone who likes adventure and mystery

I liked michigan mega-monsters because its were I live so it was intresting.
