Accountant proving she's not boring by pole dancing on Amateur night, attracts attention of owner and things get hot. She does a Cinderella and leaves, he searches, etc. While improbable, the story was very hot and the characters interesting

This was a sexy, witty read. Well written and titillating. Loved the interaction and the anticipation between the main characters.

This is a delightfully sexy, whitty, hot and refreshingly short read. Ms. Reed captures the raw intensity of lovers separated over a long period of time. If you want to feel your cheeks heat and your toes curl this is a read for you. The heels will do it every time.

Falling for a man is never easy, but it’s even harder when that man grates against your nerves to the point of pain every time he comes near you. Mary Ellen Hall has been in love with Brice Winston, her best friend’s older brother, for as long as she can remember but he seems determined to push her away, and yet the minute she gives up he seems to want her. This man might just be the death of her, but it’s a death that she would gladly take if it meant spending time in his arms. Mary Ellen is willing to put her heart on the line to get Brice to see how great they would be together, and if he doesn’t take the hint than a broken heart will have to be her consolation prize.

Brice Winston is a man with a hard won control point and he isn’t willing to break that control for anyone, yet every time he gets close to Mary Ellen he can feel his control slipping. She has gotten under his skin and while it’s never something he planned on trying to get her away only makes him want her more. When Brice finally does give in, will the loss of control be worth it or will he have to walk away from Mary Ellen when she learns of his past? Because how can she love a man with a past as dark as night?

This was a great story about two people so determined to stay away from each other that they ended up closer together because of it. For Mary Ellen she knew that she loved Brice for what felt like forever but she was willing to walk away to make him happy, and yet Brice wouldn’t be happy without her by his side if only it could be on his terms. These two are perfect for each other, they only have to realize it. KJ Reed is a new to me author and if all of her works are like this one than I can say she will definitely be on my favorite author list, because this was a great read and I hated to see this one end. You will not be disappointed if you pick up a copy of this book!
