The subject matter is certainly fascinating. The exhibition included a large number of items and some of them have copious descriptions with very interesting background material. The author, who spent considerable time in India, became a honorary handicraft advisor for the Office of the Registrar General of India. However it is hard to understand why there are no illustrations, except 5 decorative line drawings. There is even a map!
