Sort of a "can you catch me?" story. Murphy the dog runs off after an auto accident. He's seen many, many times, and regularly visits some locations, but he won't come when called and he routinely bolts when approached? This is the story of a dedicated owner and a local farmer/writer who refuse to give up trying to lure Murphy home.
