I was mad when I first started this just because of how he went about it granted towards the middle he realizes and tries to fix it while simultaneously trying to hide it, and it blows up in his face. I do love some groveling there is minor groveling in this and I loved it. I do feel like there are triggers that need to be thought about in this process, the female main character does deal with her trauma and the main male character realizes and kind of helps her through it while also triggering possible issues. But this book does end with a happy ending and the female main character. She meets her trauma head on and deals with it in a shocking way, that I did not suspect I suspected her trauma would be dealt with in the way it was just not by her and that was amazing.

There's a fine line between alpha and abuser. It took me forever to finish it.

i’m marking this as read, but i truly cannot make myself finish this book. it is so messy and bad i just can’t

edit: i skimmed the rest of the book so i think that’s a win for me. i just really couldn’t take this mmc, he was incredibly manipulative and had an awful temper. super unfun to read the stupid fights the two of them got into. bad book, bad times

I am mixed on my review. I loved parts of the story and other parts had me pretty frustrated. This book felt different than the previously released standalone books in this series. It felt like there were a lot of directions this could of gone. I was expecting more from Antoinette's past since that seemed to be a detail that was brought up several times.

Even though this wasn't my favorite, I'm still a huge fan of this author.

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a sucker for anthologies. It is the easiest way to discover new authors and also get reacquainted with old favorites. MC romance is one of my favorite subgenres so getting an MC anthology with a Christmas theme is like a Festivus Miracle.

I, initially, discovered that this anthology was even going to be a thing because of my deep love for all things Serena Akeroyd and India R. Adams. They sure did not disappoint in this collection of stories. It was very bittersweet to come back into the worlds that they have created and because of that, I have been eager for this anthology since I first heard that it was going to be released. It was not a disappointment by any stretch of the imagination and was well worth the wait. All of the authors did an exceptional job.

Each story in this collection was different. Some were sweet and some were a little more heartbreaking. Yet, one thing that they all had in common was the camaraderie and loyalty that I have come to expect from MC books. Regardless of whether it was a 1% club or one that stayed law-abiding, the loyalty and brotherhood always stand out. It was great to see some of the best authors in this genre show off their skills.

I discovered a couple of authors that were new to me which is great because now I have new books to binge on. Some of the other stories reminded me that I had some catching up to do when the series had gotten lost in my ever-growing TBR list which again has me excited because, YAY, more books!

This is a great collection of stories that will easily fit into time constraints over the upcoming holidays. Highly recommend this anthology as there was not a bad story of the bunch.

Hmmmm. I revere writers and hate to be a critical bitch, but this review is for all four books in the series. Ok, come on now. I cannot figure out how the members of this MC even ride what with everyone packing a huge 9 inch cock. Add to that the same formulaic sex blather and most enjoyment was eliminated. Every guy is reformed. Every guy is a master at anal sex and every guy is going to fuck her till she sees stars. Gag. Not to mention the revolting dialing about these women’s lips and vaginas. The stories weren’t bad and I might have been able to enjoy them were it not for the preposterous scenarios. An 18 year old virgin klepto who acts like a 40year old and is not impacted by getting branded. The women are talking like they are badass but come across as vapid. It’s a quick, fun read if you can get past the eye rolling.

Guys you know I dont normally write long reviews, so please forgive me...From the very beginning Axel was one of my favorites, I dont know why but he was even when he was being a jerk and judgmental but dude was loyal and i loved him because he said what he felt and did not sugar coat things so yes I have loved him and have been waiting for him. And finally we got it. Did I totally get Antoinette, no did I feel like she was his soulmate or whatever..not really but I didn't hate her. So far to be honest Eve is my girl and she will continue to be, i haven't felt like any of the other girls is at her level. I had loved Dolly in the first book in hers not as much but again Eve is my girl..Now having rambled about my feelings let me tell you i did enjoy book again I am gonna have to say that the first book was and is still my favorite. Again love my Eve and Blade and besides them my other favorite character is Doug, love him to bits. Now let me get other stuff off of my chest. I am feeling a little lost or let down why? OK So we got to know about Benny in the first book, so I dont feel like I got any closure and am sad because I dont feel like Eve was able to get some either. So we know what happened in the first book so I was seriously waiting for some type of culmination. Eve's dad tells her to give him a chance (something like that) so then we get that dude was raping and killing all over the world- huh not getting it, he was broke and I get that he had robbed the disciples in the first book and it was 10,000 not that much and he got away so why did he come back? huh not getting it you come back but dont try to contact Eve? so then why come back? you could have done those things anywhere, again what was the purpose of him coming back to steal from the disciples if you are not gonna contact her, and why mess with Axel? what would be the point? why was Antonoinette so special, yeah was let down with that whole scenario it didnt jive me besides the fact that we after three books we hear about him again but it was not realistic at all that was not how we got to understand Benny he seemed smarter..yeah not happy with that. Then there is Crystal, we were supposed to hate her since again the first book. Now we were conditioned to hate her since she was the club whore, again didn't feel like what happens in this book made sense, So if you think about it I was even prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt. I mean come on she was with this club forever, she was Chucky's girlfriend and he get blown to bits, then she was Blade's whore as they keep saying but he did keep her on the side even though we know he slept with whoever but kept going back to her, so I understood why she was so hurt when Eve came in the pic and why she felt the way she felt, it wasn't 1 year, it was about 10 years come on, so i was trying to be understanding. but again her scenario with Antoinette didn't make sense because wasn't mad at her, no she was really mad at Eve it was just everything that she told Antoinette was using her like really a scape goat and why would Axel hate her, he never mentioned it before. I could see Dolly hating her and even Edge but Axel yeah not buying it. I also understood how Blade kind of protected her more than once, last book with the Dolly and Edge scenario and this book buy giving her the managers position she is no longer a spring chicken. Now if you are gonna allow her to be yelling at him and Eve in the office which ahh you are the President where was the respect and then to not allow Eve to knock her out after she said the crap she said, nope Eve deserved to knock her out..And that can't possibly be the end of her if it is, I will be disappointed again, I mean I dont like her but it would again be disappointing if they do to her like Benny and we get nothing.

I'm caught in the middle on this review. I loved certain aspects of it but others I struggled with. The timeline was hard to follow. Some chapters said the past/present and others didn't. It pulled me out of the story. The majority of this was the past which also frustrated me as I really wanted to know more about the big secret. The interaction between characters seemed childish at times (and not just when they were children), which also frustrated me. The present parts held more life for me and that is what kept me reading.

I appreciate the author and this is just my opinion on why, as a reader, I struggled with this story, especially as it had promise.

This was a story that I had been hearing a lot of buzz about. There were parts of it that lived up to the hype while others just didn't resonate with me. Both the main characters, Blade and Evie, had their moments where they were badass*s and then they had their moments where I wanted to shake them because they were just plain ridiculous. That being said, this is a solid start of a new MC series. I am hoping that it gets better as the storyline progresses. Even though this story has me on the fence I am still interested enough to continue on which in turn says that the author must have been doing something right in her storytelling because if it was rubbish then I wouldn't care. Well played.

I could not understand why this book had so many stars. I love alpha's but this guy was just a jerk to the highest level. Then we have female main character they kept saying she was a bad ass, but when she was around the Blade/Jason she was weak and pathetic..
