Champagne and silver buckles : the Viceregal court… von Joseph Robins
Good read, not an academic work as such but there's a lot of history in it. It's spoiled a little by careleseness: the King of arms becomes King at arms, and one of the holders of the post, Sir William Betham, becomes Sir William Bentham. Various others. A pity, because his bibliography is 12 pages long, so the research was wide-ranging.
