Sam Rogers

I think Sam Rogers did a great job with this biography. He divided the book into four chapters. First we learn about where and when Shakespeare was born, England 1564. We find out that Shakespeare never went to college, but he is responsible for adding thousands of words to the English language. He made a career of writing amazing plays such as Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet. He tells us about a time when Shakespeare had a small role in a special performance of Merchant of Venice. We go on to find out about the Globe theater and how there was a fire, and then it was rebuilt. Shakespeare was truly brilliant, and he is arguably one of the best writers in history.
