A fresh look at the biblical prophecies concerning end-times events.

Elohim is the strong, faithful, and therefore, covenant-keeping God. This name of God is used more than 2,500 times in the Old Testament.

After looking at the Abrahamic and Mosaic covenants in the previous issue of Zion's Fire. Marv now turns his focus to the two other other covenants God established with Israel: The Davidic and the New. Believers the world over are still receiving the blessings of both.

To convince the Jewish people that a 'Gentile' is the Messiah in the face of the teaching of their prophets will require a powerful, influential, miracle-working, religious Jewish leader to identify a Gentile political leader as God's Messiah. This is precisely what the Beast out of the earth (the False Prophet) will do as he influences the Jews to follow a counterfeit Gentile Messiah. For the Antichrist to be perceived as Christ, he must appear to conquer death just as Jesus, e Christ, actually did. For such a task the Antichrist will be required to be highly recognizable worldwide politically

As God reveals the critical events which will take place at the end of the age in preparation for the Messianic age to come, we are told of two wonders in Heaven. What do these two symbols represent? The answer is pivotal to a proper understanding of end-time events

The book of Revelation records the ultimate vindication of Christ before His creation in both Heaven and Earth. The Prophets of Israel repeatedly warned of a coming dark day of judgment for the world. They referred to it as "The Day of the Lord." They understood it to be the time at the end of the age when the Lord would pour out His judgment on the world because of its sin. The first four trumpets appear to be targeted at the earth's ecology -- vegetation, oceans, rivers, streams, and the temperature. The last three trumpets are designed as 'woes' because they will be far more severe than the first four trumpets.

This book stands as a genuine departure from established eschatology of the Rapture. Rosenthal successfully (I believe) argues the end-days timeline is directly connected to the "Day of the Lord" (Day of Yahweh). As such the Rapture will occur at the instant that judgement will fall on the earth. This then means that the Church will suffer through tribulation (but not all of it).
Rosenthal has personally suffered for his beliefs, losing leadership of a worldwide ministry because of his change of belief. The opening chapters detail the depth of scholarship, engagement, and persistence Rosenthal has in bringing this interpretation to light.
This book is informative for those who are serious in investigating what the entire scripture (including the Old Testament) has to offer about the Rapture.

What is life about? Is there any purpose to man's few years upon the earth? Are we just marking time? Is life nothing more than blind fatalism? The purpose of humanity is to glorify God. What is the glory of God? The glory of God is the sum and substance of His intrinsic, eternal perfections. His glory emanates wholly from within His own being and is not dependent upon anything external to Himself. His glory was displayed when "the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14)

Satan is real, alive, and exceedingly active in his plans to oppose God. A battle rages between God and Satan. It began in the Garden of Eden and is intensifying as the world rockets toward the end of human history as we know it.

Pt 3: The power and splendor of God is beyond human imagination. It is with this power and splendor that God will do for His people precisely what He has ordained

Pt 2: God delights in displaying tender care toward His sheep. There is coming a time when God will pour out His tenderness on His beloved people.

Part 1: God may withdraw His glory, withold His blessings, and implement His rod of chastening, but He will never break His word or forget His promises to Israel

I was absolutely enthralled with this book. If you have an interest in Biblical Prophesy as it relates to the tribulation, the antichrist, belief in a rapture this book is captivating. The author puts forward logical, reasonable argument for his belief, backed by scripture and fairly easy to follow chronologically. My only disappointment is that the trumpet and bowls are not discussed. The last two chapters become a little redundant, but overall a book well worth your time to read and understand.

As times continue to get worse for Christians, we must all remember that we are chosen by the Father (election), purchased by the Son (redemption), and processed (set apart) by the Holy Spirit (sanctification). The triune God has done great and glorious things on our behalf. Still, if we are going to live victoriously, there are some important principles we must understand.

As we come to this final portion of the Book of Daniel we are given a breathtaking and extraordinary look into the future, as god's plan for Israel at the end of the age comes into clear focus. The AntiChrist will have his day, but it will end abruptly at the coming of the true and victorious Christ

Any consideration of end time events must have as its conspicuous backdrop the blessed hope of the Church -- resurrection or rapture at Christs coming. The prospect of encountering the difficult days associated with the emergence of the Antichrist in no sense infringes upon the blessed hope. For the believer the blessed hope remains the anchor of the soul that will not slip.

One night, the great prophet Daniel had a dream. The meaning impact, and influences of the dream are still being felt to this very day. Daniel the prophet sees a vision of four beasts arising from the sea. Everything that is happening now is in an ultimate sense spiritual - not simply political. The wold has no clue regarding the spiritual origins of all we see unfolding before our eyes. The world has no idea it is quickly racing toward the end of the age.

An open letter to the citizens of the United States of America. Our country has turned away from the 'divine standard', leading to a frightening lack of righteousness. The days ahead will be dark ones. Human rights can only be assured among a virtuous people. Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. as nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters. The issue really comes down to the belief in a holy God who has revealed His will and to whom men are accountable, or the belief in humanism which ultimately says of humanity, "I am the captain of my ship; I am the master of my fate." It has been Judeo-Christian moral and spiritual virtues, based on the Old and New Testament, which have brough a measure of righteousness to this country.

Soon a shadowy figure is going to come out of a great darkness to engage in the ultimate wickedness of all human history. This figure will set himself against everything that is of the One True God and will wage war against all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. He will be successful for a short time, and then his end will come. Given the present, feverish activity on the part of 'many' [Daniel 9:27] within Israel to enter into some kind of covenantal relationship with a power base of foreign nations for protection, rather than to trust in her own God, it is reasonable to assume that her great apostasy and the consequent manifestation of the man of sin cannot be far off.

In recent years, amazing development in Israel are making her attractive trade partner for the nations of th world. Israel has what they want! For now, negotiations are amiable, but how long will it last? Little do the nations of the world realize what God is moving them into for the playing out of His end-times scenario--the emergence of the Anti-Christ, followed by the Great Tribulation, then the removal of all believers from the earth by rapture, Armageddon, and the glorious return of Jesus, King of Kings.

Over the course of history, Satan has looked for a way to corrupt and eventually destroy God's plan for human history. However, humanity -- via the influence of God's people -- has occasionally exhibited significant 'push back' against Satan's evil world system and denial of the risen Christ and one day will confess Him. The bible -- both the Old and New Testaments -- is at the core and made America the most God-conscious, moral, powerful, and prosperous nation the world has ever known. Any other explanation of America's greatness is nonsense.

As Christians, we must be open to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. When long-held views are suddenly and legitimately challenged, we have a responsibility to investigate what the Lord may be showing us. If facts justify new challenges, then a fresh perspective and viewpoint must accompany the facts. Such is the case with me with regard to my understanding of the Revived Romans Empoire and the identity of the region and people from which the Anti-Christ will emerge. The second coming of Christ is a foundational doctrine. But the chronology of events that leads to the Lord's second coming is hotly debated.

The second chapter of Daniel is one of the most fascinating prophetic chapters in the whole Bilble. It is also one of the most important. Daniel's amazingly gives his reader a flawless skeletal picture of history beginning six hundred years before the time of Christ and stretching forward all the way to His second coming and the start of His millennial Kingdom

Babylonian king Belshazzar desecrated the holy vessels of God's Temple by ordering them to be made available at a riotous, pagan orgy he was hosting in his palace. The God of Israel was not pleased and displayed His anger in shocking and frightening fashion

In the Old Testament, there were three primary, divinely appointed positions, all with their distinct functions and responsibilities. These three were the offices of prophet, priest, and king. No one man in Israel ever held all three offices. However, what no one man in the Old Testament could fulfill, Jesus, in the New Testament, was able. In Jesus, the three offices of prophet, priest, and king are merged. Jesus alone is the Prophet, Priest, and King.
