Marissa decided to hide out in a cabin in the mountains, so she can figure out what she wants to do with her life. She needs to know what her next move is going to be. She needs a new job, love life, and better friends. So when she is out walking in the mountains/woods she gets lost and then a thunderstorm rolls in. While looking for shelter Marissa ends up hurting herself. Will someone find her before nature has its way with her?

Carson needs a break from real life. So he goes up to the family cabin for some alone time. While taking a hike/walk in the mountains during the thunderstorm he hears someone in distress. So he goes to help the person. Will he be able to get to the person in time?

Carson and Marissa are cabin bound until the storm passes and she recovers from her injuries. There is more of a storm inside the cabin then outside. Will they be able to overcome the things that happened to them in the past? Or will they miss their opportunity over past hurts instead of looking to the future?

This is my first time reading this author. The book was okay. I could not put it down once I started reading it. It was like you are on the edge of your seat to see what will happen next. I will read other books by this author. I recommend this book to others.… (mehr)
