Ashraf Sabry

This book is Part I of a locally published book series here in Alexandria by Dr. Ashraf Sabry, owner/operator of Alexandra Dive Center. Dr. Sabry has spent many years diving the North Coast of Egypt and has provided some details and history concerning some of the shipwrecks lying just offshore. Published in English, it is written in style that one can tell is not coming from a native English speaker, but it is easily understandable none-the-less. There are some good drawings of a few of the shipwreck sites, pictures could be better, and the reader doesn't really need to know the entire family history of Dr. Sabry's family. Still, all-in-all, a book worth having in a reference section for no other reason than there are virtually no books written on the subject to date!… (mehr)
