An old fashion book about a boy named Tommy who goes camping with his family. Everyone has a camp job but him. His dad makes the fire, his mother cooks, his brother fishes, and his sister cleans, but what is he suppose to do? Him and his family go on a hike that night, and Tommy keeps noticing interesting things along the way. When the family is ready to head back down the mountain, they realize they're lost. Luckily, Tommy remembers how to get back by following all the little things he noticed, like raccoon prints and a knot in a tree, and leads his family back to the camp space.
