I am typically a fan of flash fiction, with several collections in my library. This collection, however, does not hold together. The previous collection 'Espresso Fiction' was much better. Many of the stories in this volume make no sense. It suffers from poor editing and amateurish writing. I realize some of the writers are amateurs but c'mon...
When I requested this book, I was expecting each author to work together. I thought that each author would continue the previous author's story. I assumed that 20 individual 500-1500 short stories was an error in the book info. I also didn't like the format of the book. Why did you place the story in columns? It didn't enhance the stories! I was lost after the first 7 pages. I had to find a summary of each story. I didn't know what was going on! Without a summary I would have been completely lost. 500-1500 words is not enough to define the main components of story.… (mehr)
