I really enjoyed the plot line and the characters, but the grammatical errors and run-on sentences were more than minimal. Since the first part of the book is first-person narrative from a high school jock, I could be forgiving of many of the errors, as they lead some authenticity to the character. You can't necessarily have a 17-year-old narrating a story like a professional writer.

However, one BIG problem I had was the word "shot" was used NUMEROUS times when "shoot" should have been used, as in:

"I had to shot the gun."

The end of the story is a setup for a sequel, so I hope one is coming. With better editing.… (mehr)
