The only problem I had with this book is that it wasn't longer. Jorge F. Saenz does a brilliant job of portraying a little known, much accomplished member of the Romanov dynasty.

The son of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia, Prince Vladimir Paley was among the most accomplished members of his family when it came to literature.

This book is a good read and a fascinating insight into the last days of the House of Romanov.
