Dysfunciton Interrupted is a great primer on Childhood Trama Events, explanations of the common variants of depression and anxiety and recommended practices to improve depression and anxiety related symptoms. The three-part nature of the book allows a reader to focus on either of these areas that she may be interested in. For me, the most well fleshed out portion was the last third dealing with coping strategies. Very clear instructions and practical advice as well as good background for someone early in the diagnosis stage. A great resource for ongoing practice as well.
