A useful collection of chapters by different scholars on various aspects of the Indian economy. Yashwant Sinha's accent is on the nature and record of economic reform in the 1990s, but his point is that it was he who initiated it a little before Manmohan Singh became Finance Minister in 1991. While the book does not address the aftermath of demonetization and introduction of GST, it will still be useful as a backdrop to what happened later.½
