Well written and researched bio of the "girl who was too beautiful" for Hollywood, silent actress Barbara La Marr. I liked how the author covered what happened to the significant folks in Barbara's life after her death as so many biographers do not do this. The book had plenty of photos although I do not think the cover jacket photo does justice to her beauty.
