Easy to follow, clear visuals, lots of neat tricks. What I liked about this book were the screenshots accompanying the text, and simple layout with no distractions on the page. Not as detailed as some other manuals out there (Robin Williams' books, or the Missing Manual series) but a solid first-timer's primer to basics of the MAC OS. Took it on a plane ride cross country and got lost in this, a computer book! You know something is good when.....
